The Introspection Collection of SS18 is a documentation or translation of my mental process as I transition between the different phases of my life. It is a reflection on the state of my mind as I go through every up and every down, as well as being an intentional representation of every mistake that I have made twice, or every wrong turn that I have taken repeatedly. This insight has resulted in a vast amount of structures, textures and patterns. As you may notice, this collection only features black and white fabrics, because I wanted to translate the experiences as a vintage black and white film. Therefore, everything seen by the eye is a symbol: the repetition, the flow, the intentional transitions between fabric textures, and so much more.
