‘Querencia’ for NYFW SS23

‘Querencia’ is a place from which one’s strength is drawn, where one feels at home; the place where you are your most authentic self.

This was my first mini-collection back in the fashion week world, and I wanted to come back by going to the root of my inspiration: family & love. My family is where I am able to be my most authentic self, and that is where this collection bloomed. the collection features a lot of layering, details, connections, raw edges, and natural imagery details. I created this collection from Moodboard to the final product within 30 days, and I did each piece myself by hand.
